Informed sources confirmed to Arabstoday that the new Egyptian president, Mohammed Morsi, will be sworn in before the Supreme Constitutional Court on Saturday, June 30, 2012, while an inauguration ceremony will take place under the auspices of the armed forces at one of their establishments. The sources who requested anonymity, added that the power handover ceremony will include a military parade and a documentary presenting the role of the armed forces during the last 17 months. Morsi is to deliver a speech at the inauguration, and the ceremony will conclude with a banquet which will gather together Morsi along with members of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) and a number of other senior officials in the presence of representatives from local and international media.
