Police took under custody five people suspected of involvement in Tuesday's armed attack on the headquarters of Haber-Is Labor Union Turkish capital of in Ankara. Three people were wounded in the armed attack on the headquarters of Haber-Is Labor Union. "Former financial secretary of the union, Salih Dasdemir, arrived at the headquarters telling 'I am going to restart working here' among with 25 people who are not members of the union. Dasdemir together with attackers attempted to attack president Veli Solak but when they couldn't reach him, they attacked the staff at the entrance," said secretary general of the union, Pevrul Kavlak. Kavlak told AA that three people from the staff were wounded in the armed attack. "Union's former secretary of finance Salih Dasdemir was found guilty and dismissed and the high court approved the judicial decision. Dasdemir then applied to Labor Head Office but he was told that 'the union may evaluate the situation'. Then, Dasdemir together with 25 non-workers came to the headquarters, telling that he would restart working and staged their attack," stated Kavlak.
