Arrangements for Yemeni delegation’s visit to Guantanamo discussed

Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Monday with the U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein.Al-Qirbi discussed with the U.S. ambassador arrangements for the visit of a Yemeni delegation to Guantanamo detention camp to get acquainted with the situations of the Yemeni detainees there.During the meeting, the two sides the developments in the political settlement and the progress in the National Dialogue Conference.The meeting also touched on the recent presidential decisions on restructuring the armed forces that were welcomed locally and internationally, which affirms that the political settlement is moving forward to achieve the desired results.
