
Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs Sabry Magdy met Monday with a number of African ambassadors in Cairo to discuss the file of terrorism.
The meeting, currently taking place at the Foreign Ministry HQ, is part of talks held with accredited diplomats following recent terror attacks on a number of security checkpoints in North Sinai that left scores of officers and soldiers dead.
Hatem Seif el Nasr, another assistant to the foreign minister, met last week with European ambassadors in Cairo.
The foreign minister's assistant for American affairs, Mohamed Farid Mounib, held similar talks with ambassadors of North American and Latin American countries to Egypt.
Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Abdel Rahman Salah also met with ambassadors of Arab countries in Cairo.
Ambassadors of a number of Asian countries met with assistant foreign minister Yasser Mourad.
