At least eight people were killed in incidents of violence in different parts of Karachi, the capital of Sindh province, located in southern Pakistan, Some unidentified persons shot dead a man in Orangi Town area while another man was gunned down near Super Market in Califton, according to Pakistan's (Dunya) News. Two people were shot dead in separate firing incidents in Baldia Ittehad Town and Pirabad areas while five people were gunned down in firing incidents in Gulbahar, Defence, Liaquatabad and Qayyumabad localities. The identity of the deceased is not yet known. Meanwhile, two security guards were wounded when some miscreants riding in a car opened fire at them in Defence while a truck driver was injured while resisting a robbery attempt in Manghupir area.
