Militants on Monday morning attacked a police station located on the outskirt of Bannu city in Pakistan where at least eight persons including three policemen were killed. Police sources said that the incident took place at Kakki police station located at a distance of 14 kilometers from Bannu city, according to Pakistan’s (Geo News). Militants besieged the police station with hand grenades and then opened fire that killed five persons who had come out of the mosque after offering prayers. Three cops were also injured in the fire exchange who later succumbed to their injuries after which the toll stands at eight now. Police told that four suicide attackers were also killed in the counter attack while the search for another one is underway. The sources said that the contingent of police force have left for Kakki from Bannu city.
