Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani says assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists will awaken nations. 'Enemies of Islam and Islamic ideology do such things to impede movement of the Islamic Republic of Iran,' said Ayatollah Kashani in his first sermon to large groups of Tehrani worshipers in Tehran University campus on Friday. He said enemies of Iran have now turned into enemies of all Muslim countries because they see that the idea of campaign against injustice has speedily spread to whole Muslim communities. Ayatollah Kashani, who is also an Experts Assembly member, said since the Islamic Republic of Iran has initiated the move of confronting injustice, enemies try to face the Islamic establishment of Iran. He said assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan is in line with policies of enemies to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran. 'Martyrdom of the scientist showed that enemies of Iran are not pleased with scientific progress and independence of the country and their policy is based on opposing Iran's scientific progress.' Condoling the Supreme Leader of Islamic revolution and family of Ahmadi Roshan on the sad occasion, he said the scientists should be protected.
