Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan pledged here Thursday to establish a sustainable partnership to promote economic cooperation. The two countries have established a solid legal basis for trade and economic cooperation, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov told a joint business forum. Safarov said over 40 Kazakh companies are operating successfully in Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijani businessmen invest in Kazakhstan as well. He said Kazakhstan would provide favorable investment environment for Azerbaijani enterprises, adding that they were also interested in Azerbaijan's experience in the petrochemical industry and agricultural management.
