Al-Azhar condemned the storming of the Jewish extremists and Israeli occupation forces the yard of Al Aqsa, and assaulting several worshipers. Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb appealed in a statement today, to Muslims around the Earth to respond to these barbaric acts, and to show their jealousy for the holy places, and anger towards Jews'' disregard to holy sites of a nation that represents one fifth of the globe. The statement stressed that this barbaric attack does not respect the sanctity of places of worship, nor to the rules of international law and humanity, condemning extremist Jews storming of Al-Aqsa compound, supported by the police and the army of occupation and attacking the elders and imams. Several Jewish extremists stormed on Sunday the yards of Al Aqsa Mosque guarded by the occupation police forces, where there have been confrontations between the Palestinians stationed in Al-Aqsa to repel any attempts by these extremists to the desecration of the mosque, which resulted in the arrest of 12 Palestinians, and the occupation forces, closing the gates of the mosque. and allow only Palestinians who are over fifty years to access it.
