Bahrain-Chinese cooperation hailed

Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa today received outgoing Chinese Ambassador Chi Len and hailed his efforts to strengthen bilateral political and economic relations, stressing Bahrain's keenness on bolstering joint cooperation.
He recalled his participation, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, in the 4th Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which was held in Shanghai in May 2014. He stressed the ability of China to contribute to engaging a successful dialogue, consolidating cooperation and maintaining regional security and stability in Asia.
The diplomat paid tribute to Bahrain leadership, Government and people for the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, recalling HM the King's successful visit to China in 2013, during which he met President Xi Jinping. He stressed strong bilateral relations and steadily-growing cooperation, citing in this regard the Dragon City project, which is expected to be inaugurated next September, in addition to the fiber-glass factory, which is expected to attract further Chinese investments.
