Bahrain Crown Prince meets UK Military Official

Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa on Thursday met with Lieutenant General Simon Mayall, Senior Adviser for the Middle East to the U.K.’s Ministry of Defense. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest, particularly in the areas of defense and security alongside ongoing cooperation between the two countries in these areas, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported. The two sides stressed their joint keenness on maintaining regional stability and avert all forms of threat and dispute. Bahrain Defense Force Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met with Mayall today earlier for talks on military coordination and defense cooperation between the two countries.
