Bahrain embassy in Washington celebrates National Day

Bahrain Embassy to Washington hosted its annual reception party marking the 42nd National Day and His Majesty’s 14th Accession anniversary under the theme “Manama, Capital of Asian Tourism 2014”. The three-day festive celebration, which opened last Wednesday (Dec11), features a photo expo showcasing Bahrain’s centuries-old rich history and heritage as a beacon for successive civilizations over ages. This year’s theme is inspired by the declaration of Manama as capital of Asian Tourism 2014 at the Asian Cooperation Dialogue, which was held recently in Bahrain. Bahrain Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and Embassy diplomatic staff welcomed the well-wishers who included senior US Administration civil and military officials, US congressmen, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps and prominent personalities.
