Bahrain labour minister receives British ambassador

Labour Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received in his office today British Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay and discussed with him ways of boosting bilateral cooperation, mainly in the labour field, and issues of common interest. The Labour Minister underlined the advanced level of bilateral relations, expressing keenness to further bolster cooperation between both countries. He also hailed the role of the United Kingdom in maintaining regional security and stability. On his part, the British ambassador underlined the importance accorded by his country to distinguished ties with Bahrain, commending harmonious visions between both countries regarding many issues of common concern. He also praised Bahrain's achievements, mainly in the political, economic and labour fields, under the comprehensive reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
