
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain flew on Tuesday to India in response to a presidential invitation for top-level talks on the ties of friendship bonding the two countries, the Royal Court said in a statement. The official statement said the Bahraini Monarch is responding to an invitation by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to hold discussions on means of "opening new horizons" in the mutual cooperation between New Delhi and Manama. King Hamad's talks with the senior Indian officials will tackle various political, economic, commercial, investment, cultural files, regional and international topics. The Kingdom of Bahrain, according to the statement, aims to lure investments particularly from developed nations such as India, which boasts the third largest economy in Asia
