Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Sunday reaffirmed his country's commitment to maintain security and stability in Afghanistan, steaming from the recognition of its responsibilities and belief in the UN Charter for promoting international peace and stability, Bahrain news agency (BNA) reported. He also praised the international plan to enable Afghani forces to receive the security file immediately after the withdrawal of the international forces in 2014. The Bahraini top diplomat takes part in the meeting of the countries’ leaders who participate in the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) scheduled to be held on the sideline of NATO Summit that is currently held in Chicago, USA.
