A delegation from Bahrain Youth Society will leave for Oman next week to transfer its voluntary work experience to the Omani youngsters. The delegation will be headed by the society’s Chairman Ali Hussain Sharfi and comprises Deputy Chairman Ghazi Abdullah Al-Awadhi and Secretary General Ahmed Nasser Bu Hussain. The visit is part of a series of visits made by the society to KSA, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Lebanon to promote the concept of voluntary youth work and transfer experiences to the GCC and Arab countries. The Bahrain Youth Society was set up in June 2004 and seeks to draw up programmes to serve the nation and the ambitious Bahraini youngsters in order to help them take up leading posts in the future.
