Bahraini BDF commander-in-chief patronises ceremony

Under the patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Royal Command and Staff College (RCSC) hosted the opening ceremony of RCSC's Central and Virtual War Games Halls.The BDF Commander-in-Chief deputised the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to attend the ceremony, in which graduates of the first, second, third and fourth command and staff sessions, including officers from brotherly countries, were presented with master's degrees.Upon arrival, the Minister of State for Defence Affairs was welcomed by the Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, RCSC Commandant Rear Admiral Abdulla Said Al Mansoori and senior BDF officers.During the ceremony, some Holy Quran verses were recited and then RCSC Commandant delivered a statement in which he thanked the Minister of State for attending the ceremony, affirming the wise leadership's keenness to take advantage of national cadres to defend the nation and extend bridges of cooperation with Bahraini and GCC citizens.After that, a statement on behalf of the graduates was delivered, and a briefing on the sessions was presented. Then, the Minister of State for Defence Affairs presented the graduates with master's degrees.He was presented with a commemorative gift.Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa inaugurated the state-of-the-art Virtual War Games Hall, including modern and advanced equipment to be used in command and staff sessions to develop trainees' skills and enable them to plan for joint military operations.The Minister of State lauded BDF's glorious march over the past 46 years, underscoring the landmark achievements it has attained thanks to the sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. He added that BDF's accomplishments have been praised by observers and officials of military forces from brotherly and friendly countries.He also paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for his constant follow-up and the BDF Commander-in-Chief for his crucial role in advancing BDF. He pointed out that efforts to upgrade BDF's competence and preparedness will continue.He stressed that BDF is interested in upgrading its human resources in order to rehabilitate them at all levels and enable them to deal with modern technology, noting RCSC is similar to its counterparts in developed countries.He added that RCSC has become a beacon of science and knowledge, explaining that the participation of local and foreign academics and officers from the armed forces of brotherly and friendly countries in its sessions and activities prove its distinguished status.He congratulated the graduates and wished them further success.Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major-General Dheyab Saqr Al-Nuami and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
