
Bahraini-British-Irish Friendship Committee at the Shura Council, today held a meeting to discuss its work program for the next phase, under the chairmanship of Shura's Second Deputy Chairman Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi and membership of Abdul-Rahman Jawahri, Dr. Nada Hafadh, Nancy Khadhoori, Dalal Jassim Al-Zayed and Dr. Abdulaziz Abul.The meeting hailed the festivities took place in the UK marking the 200 anniversary of the British-Bahraini relations and the events associated that reflected the high level cooperation in various fields, and underscored the leadership's efforts in strengthening the relations between the two Kingdoms.It also discussed strengthening parliamentary relations, exchanging expertise and benefiting from the British and Irish parliamentary experiences, mechanism of familiarizing both countries' parliamentarians with Bahrain's parliamentary experience, in addition to bolstering cooperation and coordination between Shura Council and its counterparts in UK and Ireland.
