The BDF Commander-in-Chief, H .E. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa conducted an inspection visit to one of the BDF units in order to examine its readiness, where His Excellency was received by the Unit's Commander and a number of senior officers. During the visit, H.E. the BDF Commander-in-Chief was briefed on latest development plans in the Unit and its latest state-of-the-art advanced systems. The BDF Commander-in-Chief also closely examined the extent of the Unit's administrative preparations and military supplies. The BDF Commander-in-Chief explained that with the grace of Allah the Almighty and by virtue of the wise directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Supreme Commander, the BDF has constantly been developing especially in training aspects and modernization of weaponry and gear, lauding the efforts of loyal BDF men and their effective contribution in raising the standards of personnel in order to accomplish the process of aspired development in order to attain topnotch combat readiness and to appraise defensive plans and armament. The BDF Commander-in-Chief expressed his delight towards the outstanding and advanced standard of combat readiness and technical and administrative standards, high combat readiness of this Unit in implementing its various training programs, asserting that such advanced level attained by the Unit in terms of supplies and modern weaponry, precision in accomplishing its assigned mission is great clue to the BDF's plying on the right track in terms of developing its units, weaponry and supplying BDF units with the most optimum military equipment and attaining highest posture of combat readiness and capabilities. The BDF Commander-in-Chief praised the Unit's readiness and high morale of its personnel and their complete readiness to carry out their assigned missions and duties perfectly and efficiently within record time. His Excellency also praised their permanent and persistent cooperation with the relevant security authorities and also praised the good practical results which confirms their technical and administrative capacities and combat readiness as well as permanent courageous posture in shouldering the responsibility around the clock to accomplish the requisite combat readiness, implement their assigned missions in a perfect manner. Towards the conclusion of his visit, His Excellency thanked all Unit commission and non-commissioned officers and personnel and lauded their good efforts in upgrading their work and developing their unit. The BDF Commander-in-Chief was accompanied during his visit by the Inspector-General, major-general Abdullah Hassan Al-Nu'aimi, the Director of Planning, Organization and Technology Directorate, (Navy) major-general Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah and a number of senior BDF officers.
