Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received in his office at Gudhaibiya Palace today, the British Secretary of State for Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, on the occasion of his visit to Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the historical friendly relations between Kingdom of Bahrain and UK, where HH stressed that holding the first meeting of the Bahraini-British Joint Committee reflects the advanced level of the friendship relations bonding the two countries, and their efforts to develop and reinforce them in all areas. Both sides also discussed all various issues of common interest and the latest developments on the regional and international arenas. For his part, Alistair Burt stressed the strength of the relations between his country and Kingdom of Bahrain, and UK’s keenness to develop them in all fields.
