Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa today received Japanese Ambassador Shigeki Sumi and discussed technical and cultural cooperation as well as the planned visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, to Japan. The two sides discussed the forthcoming forum which is scheduled to be held next month in Bahrain under the slogan “From the Culture of Violence to the Culture of Peace”. Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa was also updated on plans to establish a Japanese university in Bahrain. Regional and international developments also came under the spotlight.
