Twenty Foreign Ministry diplomats will leave Bahrain this week to attend a key forum as part of the Istanbul Initiative. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is holding the symposium in coordination with the Foreign Ministry to update the diplomats on the NATO-led practical activities and promote their abilities in all fields, particularly the new concept of security, the partnership for peace programmes and the training centres. Undersecretary for regional affairs and the GCC Hamad Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Amer stressed the importance of the planned forum to develop the diplomats' competences.
