Bahraini finance minister meets lord mayor of London

Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received the Lord Mayor of London Fiona Woolf, CBE. The meeting explored ways and means for boosting and developing fruitful cooperation existing between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom in financial and investments fields. The meeting also explored basic aspects of micro- and small-enterprises and ways and means to introduce new creative funding tools and entrepreneurs for this purpose.The two sides explored ways and means for boosting cooperation and exchanging of expertise related to training, qualification processes in the banking sector as well as latest developments in the Islamic banking service sector as Bahrain is one of its essential hubs.The two sides also discussed general aspects of the current global economic situation as well as latest trends and developments in this aspect.
