The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, conveyed the compliments from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to their brother the Palestinian President His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, of the sisterly State of Palestine, and their wishes to him with abundant health and wellness and emphases on the Kingdom of Bahrain's constantly and genuinely firm supportive stance towards the Arabs' prime cause.. viz. the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people to create a viable, independent and sovereign State on national territories with its capital in Eastern Jerusalem.H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, during the Palestinian President's reception for His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs today at his place of residence in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the presence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates' Affairs, Mr. Nasser Jodeh, emphasized that a comprehensive and just peace cannot be accomplished unless Israel withdraws fully from all Arab territories occupied since 1967 in compliance with the Arab Peace Initiative and the relevant UN resolutions, promptly stops all Israeli settlement operations, cooperate with the international community in adopting a new policy for revitalization of the peace process stalled because of obstinate Israeli stances.H.E. President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his utmost gratitude and appreciation towards HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Kingdom of Bahrain Government's constant firm supportive stances and support provided to the Palestinian people.Also during the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Palestinian President explored latest developments on the Palestinian issue and the Middle East peace process as well as outcomes of the Arab Peace Initiative committee meeting recently held in the State of Qatar and current phase of implementing the Palestinian national reconciliation
