Bahraini foreign minister meets GCC-US director

Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa yesterday took part in the joint meeting between the GCC foreign ministers, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defence Secretary Leon Panetta on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly 66th Session. The session discussed issues relating to US-GCC, particularly political and security matters. Regional and international developments were also on the agenda, particularly the situation in Arab countries and coordination of stances to promote Mideast peace process.
