
Minister of State for Information Affairs and Government's Official Spokesperson, Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab, today met Director of North Africa and Middle East Department at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Pierre Giraud, within her official visit to France.Information State Minister reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest political development in Bahrain, in light of HM the King's call for to resume the national consensus dialogue sessions to reach a consensus that satisfies all parties.Mr. Giraud expressed delight in meeting the Information State Minister, wishing the Bahraini-French relations further success, particularly after he signed a joint cooperation agreement during his recent visit to Bahrain.Information State Minister paid a visit to the UNESCO headquarters there to discuss mutual media cooperation with the UNESCO Deputy Director-General for Information and Communication.Information State Minister also met with French Republic Human Rights Ambassador and reviewed the recent political development in Bahrain and the constitutional reforms that reinforce human rights and promote women's rights in all areas.French Human Rights Ambassador hailed the progress made in Bahrain, mainly in the field of supporting women's rights and a greed to bolster cooperation and coordination in the interest of both countries.
