Deputy of His Majesty the King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit today to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at Gudaibiya Palace. HRH the Prime Minister praised the outcomes of the Asian tour conducted by HRH the Deputy of HM the King that included India, Japan and Malaysia. He asserted its importance in supporting and consolidating Bahraini relations with Asian countries, affirming the positive role of HRH the Crown Prince's visit in reinforcing cooperation in the political, economic and investment fields. For his part, HRH the Deputy of HM the King briefed HRH the Prime Minister on the talks and meetings he had with leaders of Asian countries and governments in addition to the agreements that have been made. Their Royal Highnesses wished HM the King success in heading Bahrain's delegation to the 24th Arab League Supreme Council Summit in Doha. They recalled HM the King's initiative to establish and Arab Court for Human Rights, an issue that will be discussed during the summit. They expressed appreciation for HM the King's proposal and said that it embodies Bahrain's care for human rights, stressing its contribution to reinforcing joint action in promoting human rights. Their Royal Highnesses reviewed the government's priorities for the upcoming phase so as to adopt general policies that meet people's needs and contribute to developing various sectors.
