His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Italian ambassador to Bahrain Alberto Vecchi. HRH praised the deep-rooted friendly Bahraini- Italian relations, stressing the importance of consolidating joint cooperation in various fields. He also affirmed his keen interest to support all efforts aimed to enhance and develop relations with Italy, voicing Bahrain's aspiration for exchanging more official visits between the two countries. He pointed out the recent visit of His Majesty the King to Italy and its contribution to boosting cooperation between both countries, affirming keen interest to bolster mutual collaboration mainly in the economic and commercial fields. For his part, the Italian ambassador hailed HRH the Prime Minister's great efforts in Bahrain's development and modernization, praising friendly relations between Italy and Bahrain. He also stressed his country's keen interest to enhance bilateral cooperation, hailing the Bahraini government's outstanding achievements spearheaded by HRH the Prime Minister.
