
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Vice Admiral Girish Luthra, Director General of Naval Operations in India, at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Manama. The meeting came on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue, held this weekend from 6 to 8 December, as Vice Admiral Luthra participated in the event and covered relations between the two countries alongside the key topics of the Dialogue. His Royal Highness praised the longstanding historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and India, highlighting in particular the two countries’ common interests. His Royal Highness especially noted India’s dedication to supporting security, peace, and stability in the region, alongside its interest in developing bilateral relations with Bahrain across a range of sectors. For his part, Vice-Admiral Luthra expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and thanked him for his interest in supporting further collaboration and coordination between the two countries.
