Bahraini shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak al Khalifa receives Russian ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received on Tuesday the Russian Federation Republic's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Viktor Smirnov.His Highness the Deputy Premier welcomed the Russian Ambassador, praising the advanced level and remarkable development and growth of friendly bilateral relations and fruitful cooperation, highlighting the need for intensification of efforts to attain further steps that bolster these relations.His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa thanked the Russian Federation Republic for its supportive stances to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian condemnation and rejection of all acts of violence.His Highness the Deputy Premier expressed Bahrain's welcoming of the excellent Russian participation in the upcoming Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS2014) in mid-January. The meeting discussed current regional and international developments as well as several issues of mutual interest as part of understanding existing between the two countries at the political level regarding international issues.
