
State Minister for Defence Affairs Lt. General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa patronised today a ceremony held by the Royal Medical Services to mark the opening and development of a number of departments at the BDF Hospital.He lauded the efforts made to modernise the Royal Medical Services, stressing BDF keenness to fast-track medical development and optimise services by providing world-class medical care through cutting-edge equipment at the BDF Hospital.He said modernisation is an ongoing process in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.He also thanked and honoured Ibrahim Khalil Kanoo family for their generous contributions to revamp the new maternity department which reiterates anew their commitment to social partnership and philanthropic work.The ceremony was attended by Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, dignitaries Mohammed Ibrahim Khalil Kanoo and Foued Ibrahim Khalil Kanoo, senior BDF officers and invitees.
