
Assistant Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Dosari today met State Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Pascale Baeriswyl. on the sidelines of the thirty-fourth session of Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Al-Dosary praised the bilateral relations highlighted by progress in various fields, noting the memoranda of understanding signed between the two sides on the protection of the rights of prisoners and detainees, cooperation in the field of women's advancement and promoting their rights in both countries, as well as exchanging visits and coordination in international forums.
Al-Dosari affirmed that Bahrain’s achievements in the field of human rights have been accomplished in conformity with the royal reforms and the Government Action Plan (2015-2018).
The meeting focused on strengthening relations and cooperation, chiefly in the field of Human Rights, in the interest of the two countries.
