HE Bahrain’s Ambassador to Qatar Waheed Mubarak Abdullah Sayyar has expressed confidence over the success of the upcoming Arab Summit to be held in Doha by the end of this month, which he said will result in adopting decisions that could support joint Arab endeavors and contribute to resolving pending issues in the region.In an interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA) Wednesday on occasion of the Arab Summit , Sayyar indicated that the State of Qatar will host the 24th session of the Summit by the end of March, expressing full confidence forecasting its success and its fateful decision-making process for Arab undertakings under the leadership and presidency of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, emanating from HH’s experience and political statesmanship as well as Qatar’s position on the Arab and international arena.HE the Bahraini Ambassador asserted meantime that Arab nations are undergoing exceptional and challenging circumstances which require unity to face wisely and an Arab vision stemming from the Arab League, expressing a strong conviction that their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses the Arab leaders will give attention to causes of destiny for the benefit of the Arab nation.HE Abdullah Sayyar pointed out the revision and evaluation of previous decisions in advancement of Arab endeavors as one of the key issues, in pursuit of Arab populations’ aspirations in terms of security, prosperity, and progress.The central issue in the Arab nation is the Palestinian cause, which will hold its prime place at the Summit in achievement of peace in the region through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy and the ‘land for peace’ principle, he said, adding that the Syrian crisis will also receive great attention from Arab leaders to put an end to bloodshed and maintain the unity of Syrian lands.
