Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to one of the units of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) which took part in 9th drill of the Peninsula Shield in Kuwait.Upon arrival, Shaikh Daij was welcomed by the Unit's Commander and a number of officers.The Chief of Staff praised the landmark achievements of the Bahraini combat force during the 15-day drill, expressing pride in the unit's advanced combat skills, which, he said, reflects the values of bravery, dedication and professionalism promoted by BDF among its affiliates, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.He was also informed about the preparedness, training and development programmes of the unit.He also expressed sincere appreciation to all BDF affiliates for their keenness to assume their national responsibilities with competence.
