The Minister of Labor, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received in his office in the Ministry premises today the US Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Thomas Krajeski.During the meeting, the two sides reviewed existing bilateral cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America and explored ways and means to develop these relations to achieve aspirations of both friendly countries' leaderships.The Minister of Labor informed the US Ambassador on the Ministry of Labor's efforts and initiatives as part of the labor market reformation and regulation project. The two sides also explored a number of topics pertaining to labor, training and ways and means to boost them in order to serve human development projects and labor market reform.On the other hand, the US Ambassador praised the Ministry of Labor's efforts in implementing the labor market development project and expressed his country's full readiness to support the Kingdom of Bahrain's initiatives and the Ministry of Labor's projects geared to serve Bahraini workforce.The Ambassador also praised the Ministry of Labor's role in developing national regulations and laws pertaining to the labor market and trade unionism and consolidating community partnership between the three production parties in order to serve the Kingdom of Bahrain's sustainable development and renaissance, reiterating his country's readiness to exchange successful experiences with Bahrain and work together on consolidating international principles and criteria of labor.
