The Social Development Ministry has launched a programme seeking to promote productive families' projects.The scheme has been inaugurated recently on the sidelines of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Award for productive families.The ministry affirmed resolve to ensure all needs and facilities for families and individuals to launch their home projects and empower them economically and socially.The "STEP" programme seeks to promote families and individuals necessary assistance to become professional and enter the business world.Candidates will be provided a series of free training programmes in all fields, taking into account market needs.A total 4870 people have to-date benefited from morning training sessions at social centres countrywide, compared with 1005 who attended evening courses.
