Kurdistan leader, Massoud Barzani discussed with Stephen Beecroft, U.S. Ambassador in Iraq, the political situation and the path of the democratic process and the work of the House of Representatives in Iraq and highlighted on the efforts to calm tensions among the political parties, expressing their support to any effort to address the problems and complications. The Web-site of the presidency of the Kurdistan region said that "Barzani met Beecroft, who talked about the importance of the meetings that Barzani held Iraqi political parties in order to find a national understanding and urge those parties to adopt the language of dialogue, stressing that Barzani has credibility and influential prestige able him to gather all parties by launching a new initiative based on the Constitution and the agreements and develop a program and a mechanism to implement these agreements will be satisfied everyone and come out of the difficult crisis. For his part, Barzani confirmed that the Kurds, always, support addressing the problems by peaceful means and believe that all problems and disputes can be solved by adopting method of dialogue and follow the constitutional mechanisms and implement the agreements. He explained that "the current status does not bear more crises and complications, and he will continue his efforts to calm the situation and collect all the parties to reach a comprehensive agreement ending the tensions in the country.
