
Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Hazem El-Beblawi meets Monday the EU special envoy for the Southern Mediterranean region Bernardino Leon. They discussed during the meeting the outcomes of Leon’s meetings with representatives of various political forces. European leaders are keen with prevalence of stability in Egypt through constructive and peaceful dialogue, said Leon . The EU supports the choices of the Egyptian people, it does not interfere in the Egyptian internal affairs, it seeks to bridge the gap in viewpoints between the various parties and to contribute to creating suitable atmosphere for dialogue, he added. For his part, Beblawi affirmed that the government is committed to implementing the terms of the roadmap. The prospects for peaceful political action accommodate to all political forces without exclusion and that dialogue is the basis for resolving problems not violence, he said. The restoration of security and stability is necessary and inevitable, he added.
