
Netherlands' and Belgium's ambassadors in Cairo Gerard Steeghs and Gilles Heyvaert arrived in Luxor on Monday for a three-day visit.
The ambassadors are scheduled to inspect educational, medical and non-governmental institutions funded by the European Union.
They will also meet with local officials in the Upper Egyptian city.
The have already met with officials of the Evangelical Foundation for community services. They are also scheduled to visit the youth association for comprehensive development to discuss ways to promote cooperation in the fields of education, developing educational institutions, agriculture and environment.
The will also meet with Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr and a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the governorate.
On Wednesday, they will head for Qena to visit Dendera Temple complex
