Security services in Belgium have raised the alert level following the secret extradition of the convicted terror suspect Nizar Trabelsi to the United States, Belgium media reported Saturday. Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, and the last three Belgian Justice Ministers as well as three leading judges have all been given extra security protection. Belgian embassies abroad have been asked to be more alert, noted the reports. Football player Nizar Trabelsi of Tunisian origin was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment in 2003 for plotting a attack against the Belgian military air base at Kleine Brogel where reportedly US nuclear arms are stocked. The US was demanding his extradition and Trabelsi lost a long legal battle to stop the extradition and was put on a plane for the US earlier this week
