National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar affirmed that the new Constitution will be proofread by International Constitutional Law experts in the next three weeks and could be passed at the end of next April. At a meeting in Geneva with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, on the sidelines of the 22nd session of the UN Human Rights Council, Ben Jaafar also stressed that the NCA is working out a precise schedule to finish off its works. Mrs. Pillay expressed for her part the readiness of the high commissionership, through its office in Tunis, to provide the necessary support and experience in matters of human rights and legislative reform. She also affirmed support to Tunisia's application for the Human Rights Council for 2014-2016.
