Blair discusses in Jordan resuming peace talks between Palestinians, Israel

Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh met on Sunday with Tony Blair, the former envoy of the quartet committee on the Middle East peace process.

They stressed the importance of breaking the deadlock in the peace process and resuming the peace talks between the Palestinians and Israelis.

The Jordanian official expressed his country's keenness on coordination with with various parties concerned with the peace process to establish a Palestinian state in line with the two-state solution.

Fir his part, Blair praised King Abdullah's efforts to achieve stability and security in the region.

France recently offered a proposal to resume peace talks between the Palestinians and Israel to be followed by international quarters concerned with peace, the matter which was welcomed by the Palestinians and rejected by Israel.
