BOC: an armed man killed, a cache of munitions destroyed, IEDs dismantled in different parts of Baghdad

Baghdad Operations Command announced the killing of an armed man, control and destroy a cache of munitions and the dismantling of a number of improvised explosive devices in different parts of Baghdad .The command said in a statement today : "The security force killed one of the gunmen in a firefight in the Albu Soda area , and destroyed a cache of five bombs and artillery shells in the region of the Canaan ."The statement added : "The security forces dismantled three explosive devices near the pool dunum area, and three others in the Tarmiyah area , and two in the Halabsah area ."The statement pointed out that : "a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was seized in the Lakes Region , and seized and destroy another cache of munitions and explosive materials that are used in the manufacture of explosive and explosive belts in the Karaqul area and dismantling an explosive device placed inside a civilian wheel in Seid Jassim village."
