Bolivian President Evo Morales met with the Palestine Monetary Authority governor, Jihad al-Wazir, in La Paz on Thursday and expressed support for President Mahmoud Abbas.Al-Wazir handed an official letter and conveyed greetings from President Mahmoud Abbas to Morales, "who always expresses support to the Palestinian people’s resistance," a statement said.Morales was quoted as saying that "President Abbas has always been a struggler. Palestine to me and my country is an existing full member state, and the current situation does not devalue it at all'.The officials discussed cooperation projects and ways to promote tourism, agriculture and banking.
