
Bosnian Defence Minister Zekerija Osmić received Tuesday Egypt's ambassador in Sarajevo Yaser el-Atawi on boosting bilateral ties.
They discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina in various domains, Egypt's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Joining the international alliance against terrorism and the Bosnian efforts in in fighting extremism were among the topics Osmić reviewed with el-Atawi, the statement added.
The Bosnian minister stressed that his country's views were identical with those of Egypt on the importance of uprooting terrorism.
El-Atawi expounded to Osmić the latest political and economic developments in Egypt.
