The cabinet on Saturday called on all Yemenis to open a new page of sincere loyalty to Yemen. The cabinet's call came in an extraordinary meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa dedicated to discuss the government's role in preparing the appropriate climate of the national dialogue scheduled for March 18. It urged the Military Affaires Committee and Ministries of Defense and Interior to intensify their efforts to reinforce the country's security and stability, in addition to launching a campaign to raise awareness of the armed and security forces about their significant role in succeeding the national dialogue conference. The cabinet also called on the media outlets to rationalize their media speech and assist in achieving the dialogue conference successfully and enhance the public culture to put the nation's interest first. It expressed full confidence in the success of the national dialogue conference under the national consensus and regional and international support for the dialogue, saying it is a historic opportunity to bring Yemen back to the right track and forge the future that meets the people's aspirations to change for better. The cabinet reviewed several proposals and visions to ensure the success of the dialogue and the role of the government at the central and local levels in supporting the ongoing efforts to hold the conference.
