
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay a two-day official visit to Laos on Feb. 6-7 to further enhance bilateral ties and cooperation between the two neighbors, according to a press statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday. The prime minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and Deputy Prime Minister and Cabinet Minister Sok An as well as other government officials, the statement said. During the visit, Hun Sen will hold a talk with his Laos counterpart Thongsing Thammavong and then, the two leaders will preside over the signing ceremony of seven documents and agreements, which are focused on the cooperation in health, legal and judicial affairs, security, culture and art, education, and sister city relationship between Phnom Penh and Vientiane, said the statement. Besides, Hun Sen will pay separate courtesy calls on Laos President Choummaly Sayasone and Parliament President Pany Yathotou, it said.
