Cameron calls for prompt measures to lift siege over Syrian city of Madaya

British Prime Minister David Cameron has called for taking prompt measures to lift siege over the Syrian city of Madaya whose people are dying from starvation.
In a statement yesterday, Cameron said "what we have come to know about the city of Madaya is quite painful and underscores the importance of the conference to be held in London on Syria next month that was set to gather all involved parties".
The United Nations has issued a statement on Thursday confirming that it has received reliable reports that people are dying from starvation and subject to killing when they try to leave Maday, drawing the attention that some have died because of hunger.
