The Simon Wiesenthal Center launched a poster campaign on Tuesday for unprosecuted Nazi war criminals in the streets of major German cities. Under the Slogan "Late But Not Too Late", the Wiesenthal Center launched a publicity campaign for the prosecution of unprosecuted Nazi war criminals in Germany. An unprecedented poster campaign for unprosecuted Nazi war criminals has taken place in the streets of Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg with 2 thousand posters, to publicize its "Operation Last Chance II" project. The center offers rewards of up to 25 thousand euros for information which will help facilitate the prosecution in Germany for unprosecuted war criminals. A statement was issued Tuesday by the coordinator of the project. When explaining the background to the campaign, the director Efraim Zuroff said, there were still 60 to 120 Nazi war criminals and as estimated, they were up to 90 years old. An Israeli-born German historian Michael Wolffsohn described the campaign as "disrespect" and said "25 thousand Euro for serious crimes".
