Car bomb goes off in Damascus causing material damages

A car bomb went off in Syria's capital Damascus on Saturday morning, leaving only material damages, local media reported. The explosive-laden car was detonated at Barzeh district in Damascus, said the report, adding that no human losses have been reported but the blast has left material damages. Separately, the state-run SANA news agency said many " terrorists" were killed Saturday in the northwestern province of Idlib by a blast of their makeshift weapons factory. Clashes and military operations also continued in the southern suburbs of Damascus as part of the ongoing violence that has engulfed Syria since a year and a half before.
